
NewsCast is an independent, privately-owned limited company, established in June 1999. It is accredited as a news organisation by the Newspaper Publishers' Association and is a member of the British Association of Picture Libraries and Agencies. NewsCast acts as official photographer for the leading public relations industry trade title, PR Week.
NewsCast employs prize-winning photographers and picture editors with top-level national press experience. Its media team maintains daily contact with national, regional, consumer, and trade press in the UK and overseas.

Tim Melville-Ross - Chairman (non-executive director)
Appointed director in May 2000 and became chairman in November
2000. Tim Melville-Ross was director general of the
Institute of Directors between 1994 and 1999. Prior to that
he was chief executive of the Nationwide Building Society
and currently holds board positions in several leading companies
including Bovis Homes, DTZ, and Dutch financial institution
Bank Insinger de Beaufort. |

William Newlands - Finance Director
Appointed in January 2002. William Newlands is a chartered
accountant with broad experience of the international media
and public relations industries. Prior to joining NewsCast
he was CFO of US-based Rainier Corporation and before that
he was European Financial Controller of Medialink Incorporated. |

Eamonn McCabe - Photography & Syndication Director
Appointed in May 2001. Eamonn McCabe has collected
both UK Photographer of the Year and UK Picture Editor of
the Year awards on multiple occasions, placing him at the
very top of the profession with a reputation that is truly
international in the field. Eamonn's appointment to NewsCast
came after 13 years as Picture Editor of The Guardian for
which he still undertakes regular photographic assignments. |

Stewart Goldstein - Creative Director
Appointed in July 2001. Stewart Goldstein has managed
to combine his award-winning skills as a professional photographer
with an entrepreneurial flair that led to the creation in
1990 of the UK's foremost corporate photography agency, EyeCatchers,
which was acquired by a US media group in 1998. In August
2000 Stewart joined and then acquired the photographic agency
blink, which specialises in conceptual photography for business
and which was itself acquired by NewsCast in July 2001. |

Quentin Bell - External Relations Adviser (non-executive
director)
Appointed in May 2000. Quentin Bell founded the international
public relations agency QBO, and was formerly chairman of
the Public Relations Consultants Association (1994-1996).
The author of The PR Business and Win that Pitch, he was ranked
"one of the most influential PR players of the decade" (PR
Week). He recently sold his remaining stake in QBO to Lord
Bell's Chime Communications plc. |
