NEWSCAST TO SUPPLY BUSINESS IMAGES TO REUTERS

London, 22nd August 2002 newscast, the UK's leading business photography and image distribution service, has agreed a contract with Reuters - the world's leading news agency - whereby Reuters will distribute newscast's corporate news photographs to Reuters worldwide media client base (excluding the UK).

The deal enables Reuters to acquire live business news photographs from the UK's top producer of such content for distribution over the Reuters international wire network, thereby reaching into the news desks of all major international titles. newscast's clients will benefit from the extensive reach and immediacy of Reuters' network, whilst retaining the benefits of newscast's complementary worldwide distribution system that, in addition to major titles, reaches a vast number of smaller and trade titles with free of charge access to company-supplied (or commissioned) photos.
